New Eric the Dog prints at POW

I’m more or less in love with ericailcane. Via POW:
These are new from eric the dog. One is a woodcut and one is a copperplate etching. They’re both beautiful and made exclusively
for POW in the actual real Italy…
Croce, left, is in an edition of 23, 35.5×25cm and costs £225.00. Ballano, right, is in an edition of 29, 49.5×35cm and costs £250.00.
If you hurry, you may get in before they sell out.

Interaction, a Poster for Identity Designers
Several weeks ago, I posted about a clock I had made for identity designers. Several people inquired about the possibility of purchasing posters, clocks or seeing high-resolution files. Due to financial and practical restraints, I am unable to produce any clocks at this time. However, I have produced posters.
The posters in the series are 13×13″, in a signed and numbered edition of 50, half of which are available now on my Etsy account. They are printed on 110# Classic Crest Solar White paper. They cost 15$ a piece.
I really appreciate all the recognition I have received for this project. Thanks to everyone who has blogged about this.

Burlesque of NA’s obama test prints

OMG Posters! reports that Burlesque of NA will be selling a bunch of Obama test prints. They are all 20″ x 26″, and will be priced at $75-$300. They will go on sale tomorrow 30 October, at 2pm CST. Visit BurlesqueDesign.com to order.
Burlesque Design has decided to offer up a bunch of Barack Obama related test prints for sale online. In case you didn’t know, Burlesque did the printing for the entire Upper Playground Obama print campaign, almost 20 designs total, so there will be a lot of variety.
Has anyone else noticed an obsession with test prints in the poster art community? Its a cool concept, but it leaves me wondering how planned they are. At some point, does the artist stop layering ink onto a test print because it looks ‘finished’? If so, does it matter?

Michael Bierut: Barack Obama’s Fifty State Strategy
While I’m at it, here’s Michael Bierut’s Obama poster as well.
“The poster can be interpreted as both arrogant and silly, and I doubt the campaign is eager to promote either of those characteristics,” concedes Bierut. “Although I think it’s fun.” Evidently others do, too: a print of the poster raised $625 at a silent auction to benefit the AIGA at the organization’s annual Design Legends Gala last month.
I think my favorite might be Obhio Corackicut. Get the full scoop.

Reason 3/30 to vote Obama by Milton Glaser
30 Reasons is a 30-day email and internet campaign to encourage people to vote for Barack Obama.
Our goal is simple: Use design to build a logical, multi-faceted argument for Obama and make it easy to share each reason with another person.
They have enlisted 30 graphic designers to create posters that represent a reason to vote for Obama. Today’s poster comes from Milton Glaser.
