Rare, large format Charles Eames lithograph
Red Modern Furniture specializes in limited production finely crafted furniture from the turn of the century to present day. We went scavenging for vintage furniture in downtown Phoenix on Saturday and saw more fully-restored furniture than you can shake an Eero Saarinen Knoll womb chair at. (Yes, they have that too.)
What really caught my eye though, was this very rare large format lithograph by Charles Eames, circa 1928.

Knoll sued over Mies van der Rohe designs
Apparently, Alphaville Design of Fremont, California has filed a declaratory relief lawsuit against Knoll Inc to determine that Knoll no longer has exclusive rights to Mies van der Rohe’s “Barcelona” chair. Read more. →
