The folks over at Idée Labs present the Multicolr Search Lab, a web-based search engine that crawls through over 10 million creative-commons licensed images, based on colors you select.
We extracted the colours from 10 million of the most “interesting” Creative Commons images on Flickr. Using our visual similarity technology you can navigate the collection by colour.
I’m pretty excited they’re only applying this technology to creative-commons images. I think this is a fantastic tool.
