SeeSaw 2010 Letterpress Calendar

Our friends at SeeSaw Design recently finished printing their 2010 calendar. Inspired by nature and a love for classic modern shapes. The result is a playful exploration of form and color interaction.
This limited-edition wall calendar includes four designs, each with 3 months per page (size is 7.25″x11.5″). Each piece was letterpress printed on Crane’s Lettra 100% cotton paper using our antique Kluge printing press. The design emphasizes use after the year is over: trim off the dates, and keep the four pieces as prints. The calendars retail for $28, but are available for wholesale at $14 each. You can by this little beauty here.

Believe it or not this awesome work is in our very own Arizona desert around Prescott. Most of these pieces are on a Navajo reservation; the walking figures are code talkers. Beautiful use of colors by artist Yote.

For the past month or so Grafik Magazine has been displaying shots of there redesign process in there Facebook page. At top you can see Grafik’s final outcome for issue 175 that was just released.
As well as a new look, the magazine launches with a special report about illustration, an expanded review section and a new monthly column about how to become a greener designer, plus lots more. I can’t wait for it to get to the US.
